Fantastic Fashions From the 80's.

Okay, so I think we all could have done without the parachute pants. What were we thinking with that one? I blame drugs, left over from the 70's.

But, I actually do miss most of our 80's fashion and style. Okay, so I could have done without the shoulder pads as well. Not that I didn't like them, on other people, but it wasn't a good look for me personally, and they irritated my skin.

Who doesn't remember acid washed jeans, crimped hair, and socks layered with two different colors? Neon colors were more popular then they've ever been, before or since. And, with the introduction of MTV, Madonna (Strike a pose!) and all the musicians we saw revolutionized the fashion industry.

Not surprisingly, since history repeats itself and we've already seen retro 70's fashion come back and start to dwindle down again, much of the fashion and style we were pivotol in making popular in the 80's is back. I'm starting to see people walking about town, who were barely even a glimmer in their daddy's eye in the 80's, repopularizing our styles and fashions. Though, I'm still waiting for asymmetrical/mixed hair styles to come back. What? I miss those! But, rumor has it that many of our 80's hair-do's are well on their way to making a come-back! :) (I'm probably the only person on the planet who's happy about that, huh?)
